about gP

Whats the music like?

We don't own a pipe organ. Our live band usually consists of guitars, drums, and keys. We try to sing songs that are deep in meaning, but easy to understand. We keep our lights low during worship so it's easier to think about and focus on God and not those around us. If you don't know the songs or don't like to sing, this is a great time to think about what you just heard the pastor speak on. Don't feel as if you have to join in, but when you're comfortable, we hope you do! Sometimes it's good to just read the lyrics on the screen and think about the words of the songs. Our services may or may not look and sound like church services you've been to before. It might just surprise you how great the music is!

Will I be asked to give money when attending?

If this is your first time with us we want you to keep your wallet in your pocket. Just come and experience a service at GracePoint. If you like it and want to call it your church home, then we believe giving to God and His church is part of being a Christ-follower. Our "offering" time is the time when those of us who call GracePoint "home" can give back to God and his work. If you are visiting just pass the plate on to the person next to you - that's all we ask!

Will I be embarrassed when attending?

We work hard at making you comfortable. We do not embarrass, point out our guests or ask you to stand. During the Worship Service, you will be given an opportunity to fill out a connection card. This will allow us to get to know you and thank you for your visit. We encourage you to enjoy your time to get to know some of the people who call GracePoint their church home. If you choose to join us, we will make every effort to create an enjoyable experience for you as our valued guest.
